Special Fundraising Event “Miss Lillian Speaks”

President Jimmy Carter’s mother shares her life story in “Miss Lillian Speaks,” as a fundraiser for Mike on Saturday, September 10th, 7:30 PM, Dungeness Schoolhouse in Sequim.  Get your tickets mailed to you now!

Single ticket donation:  $25.00

Listeners may step inside her personal history in “Miss Lillian Speaks,” a one‐woman show starring Carol Swarbrick Dries of Sequim, an internationally known stage and television actress.

Swarbrick Dries calls “Miss Lillian Speaks” the high point of her career. A performer who has  appeared on Broadway, in musicals and plays nationally and on television’s “Murder, She Wrote,” among other shows, she began studying Lillian Carter several years ago when she read Jimmy Carter’s book “A Remarkable Mother.” Swarbrick Dries learned that Lillian, at age 68, joined the Peace Corps and celebrated her 70th birthday while serving in India.
